Description
Pol Roger Rosé Vintage 2018 combines Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Montagne de Reims and Côte des Blancs. Some Pinot Noir, selected in Bouzy, Ambonnay and Cumières, is vinified as red wine and added before secondary fermentation. Stainless-steel vinification includes malolactic conversion, while maturation takes place in the house’s deep cellars with hand riddling. For 2018, the producer describes raspberry, currant and floral aromas with exotic nuances. The generous palate retains a fresh acidic structure, supporting the ripeness of the fruit and carrying it through a persistent finish.
