Description

Ponson’s La Petite Montagne is a Premier Cru Champagne bringing together Meunier, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from villages in the Petite Montagne de Reims. The cuvée forms part of the work of the Coulommes-la-Montagne family, continued by Camille and Maxime Ponson. Grapes are selected through successive checks during harvest. In the cellar, neutral vessels and limited movement of the wine are favoured. Extra Brut dosage accompanies this approach, in which vineyard care, fruit selection and minimally intrusive winemaking constitute the principal elements of the production process.
