Description

Primosic’s Metamorfosis Collio Rosso 2016 is a Collio DOC red wine produced mainly from Merlot with a small share of other red varieties; in the 2016 vintage the blend includes Cabernet Franc. Vinification includes extended skin contact and prolonged aging in French barriques, which add structure and complexity. It shows a ruby-red color with aromas of red berries and subtle herbaceous hints; on the palate it is full-bodied, savory and tannic, with capacity for further aging.
