Description

The Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Montestefano is a Barbaresco DOCG Riserva made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes from the Montestefano MGA, grown on clay-limestone soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel at around 30°C with roughly 28 days of maceration and completed malolactic fermentation; the wine is aged in large oak casks (25–50 hl) for a minimum of 30 months before bottling in June. It pairs well with hearty pastas and risottos, white and red meats, and game, showing the structure and persistence characteristic of Montestefano cru.
