Description

The Produttori del Barbaresco Barbaresco Riserva Ovello 2019 is a red wine made from 100% Nebbiolo grapes harvested in the Ovello cru. Vines grow on calcareous-limestone and clay soils at roughly 250–320 m elevation; vinification includes fermentation at about 30°C with approximately 28 days of skin contact and completed malolactic fermentation. The wine is aged for at least 30 months in large oak casks (25–50 hl) prior to bottling; food pairings commonly suggested are filled pasta, risotto and red or game meats.
