Vigna Colonnello is Prunotto’s Barolo DOCG Riserva Bussia, tied to the territory of Monforte d’Alba. Its Nebbiolo comes from a place the estate describes as a meeting of Tortonian and Serravallian soils. The vineyard lies at around 300 metres, facing southwest and west, on soils containing clay, silt and sand. In the producer’s account, temperature differences between day and night contribute to aromatic precision. The wine’s identity is presented through the combination of finesse, elegance and structure, with a tannic texture described as velvety.
