Description

Querciabella Riserva comes from a selection of Sangiovese grown in the estate’s high-altitude vineyards. This Chianti Classico DOCG is built through separate treatment of the individual parcels: each lot ferments and matures on its own before joining the final blend. The winery uses French oak barriques and tonneaux, seeking a balance between complexity, finesse and drinkability. The wine thus brings together the nuances of individual vineyards in one interpretation of the grape. Its label features artwork by painter Bernardino Luino within a design created for Querciabella.
