Description

Vigna Grande Cerzito is Quintodecimo’s Taurasi Riserva from one hectare of Aglianico on the southern side of the Mirabella Eclano estate. Planted in 2004, the vineyard grows on deep, well-drained volcanic soil formed from ash and pumice, without limestone. The vines are trained on trellises with spur-pruned cordons. Its aromatic profile recalls cherry, plum and chocolate, while the palate combines substance with delicacy. Development can bring suggestions of mint, eucalyptus and incense to a wine conceived for extended maturation and defined by its precise single-vineyard origin.
