Description

Raccaro’s Collio Bianco brings together Friulano, Sauvignon and Pinot Grigio. The Friulano base receives a short period of cold skin contact, while production involves gentle pressing, low-temperature clarification of the must and controlled fermentation. The three components are combined in the spring following the harvest, before bottling. Maturation in stainless steel and in bottle accompanies the integration of the blend. The aromatic profile recalls apple, yeast and wild flowers; on the palate, acidity balances the wine’s alcoholic component. It can accompany mushrooms, fish and moderately aged cheeses.
