Description

Louro comes from small estate parcels of Godello in O Bolo, above 600 metres in altitude. The vineyards lie around Chandoiro, Lentellais, Outardepregos and Santa Cruz do Bolo, on granitic sands and sandy soils with clay deposits. Rafael Palacios seeks to preserve their expression through cultivation that respects both vines and soil. Fermentation in large French oak vessels and contact with the fine lees accompany the wine's development. The winery describes a fresh yet enveloping profile, with citrus and herbal suggestions and a saline finish that reflects its interpretation of the local landscape.
