Description
The 2022 Ultreia Valtuille from Raúl Pérez is a red wine from the D.O. Bierzo made from Mencía grapes sourced from selected vineyards in Valtuille de Abajo. It is produced with minimal intervention, including extended maceration and whole-rasp fermentation, then aged about 12 months in French oak casks and foudres. The wine shows floral tones with red and black fruit, fine tannins and lively acidity, and pairs well with meats and stews.
