Description
La Muria 2021 is a single-vineyard red made by Raúl Pérez in the Viariz subzone of D.O. Bierzo (Castilla y León, Spain). The wine comes from a high-altitude parcel (around 1,045 m) on slate soils; vinification uses whole clusters and indigenous yeasts, with extended maceration and around 12 months ageing in large barrels. Production is very limited (approximately 900 bottles) and the wine is elegant, mineral and finely textured.
