Description
Raventós i Blanc’s 2024 Blanc de Blancs comes from the Conca del Riu Anoia, with Vinya del Llac providing a central reference. Its northern exposure, clay soils over limestone and proximity to the lake accompany slow ripening. Xarel·lo, Macabeu and Parellada are joined by Malvasia de Sitges. Hand-picked grapes are gently pressed and fermented in stainless steel, with varieties and soil types kept separate. The second fermentation takes place in bottle, followed by at least eighteen months of ageing. The Extra Brut style combines freshness, structure and the complexity of local varieties.
