Raventós i Blanc’s 2022 Textures de Pedra is a Blanc de Noirs made from Xarel·lo Vermell and Sumoll. The grapes come from Vinya Més Alta, at the top of Turó del Serral, the estate’s highest point. Stony soils encourage roots to seek water deep below the surface and accompany concentrated fruit. Following hand harvesting, the first fermentation takes place in stainless steel, separating varieties and soil types. Bottle fermentation is followed by at least forty-eight months of lees ageing. Without liqueur d’expédition, the wine retains structure, freshness and capacity for development.
