Description

Grand Régnard is a Chablis cuvée created in 1992 and presented in a bottle inspired by a seventeenth-century model. Chardonnay comes from slopes on Kimmeridgian soils composed of shell limestone and clay. The grapes are hand harvested and pressed; the juice is clarified by settling before fermentation in stainless steel. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and continues maturation in the same material, followed by filtration and bottling. Its general profile emphasises fruit, roundness and elegance, expressing the youthful character of the appellation.
