The Reinhold Haart Riesling Auslese "Goldtröpfchen" 2001 is a sweet Riesling made from grapes harvested in the Piesporter Goldtröpfchen single vineyard in Piesport, Mosel. The Auslese designation denotes a late-harvest selection with higher natural sugar concentration than earlier classifications. This 2001 vintage comes from the Reinhold Haart estate, which produces Riesling from steep slate slopes in the region. The wine is suitable as a dessert wine or paired with dishes that call for pronounced sweetness.
