Description

Remelluri Blanco 2022 comes from the slopes of the Sierra de Toloño above Labastida in Rioja Alavesa. It blends different white varieties, grown to express the estate’s character through parcels between 605 and 805 metres. The soils combine limestone and calcareous clay with exposed bedrock. Parcels ferment separately with indigenous yeasts in barrels, large wooden vats and concrete. Ageing continues in wood and concrete eggs, followed by blending and further time in large neutral vessels. The cuvée was conceived as an interpretation of the mountain landscape and its different vineyard origins.
