Description

Rocche dell’Annunziata is Ratti’s Nebbiolo-based Barolo DOCG, first produced in 1971. The vineyard lies at around 300 metres above sea level, facing southeast on blue marl threaded with sandy veins. Hand harvesting precedes fermentation in stainless steel and submerged-cap maceration, followed by maturation in oak casks and bottle. The estate’s general presentation evokes rose, violet and liquorice. On the palate, it highlights warmth, fullness, elegant tannins and a sustained finish, bringing together the vineyard’s setting and the winery’s interpretation of this historic Barolo site.
