Description

The Reyneke Shiraz Reserve 2020 is a red wine from Reyneke produced in Stellenbosch from 100% Syrah. It undergoes open-top fermentation with a portion of whole bunches and is aged for about 18 months in second- and third-fill French oak barrels. Aromas of black cherry, black pepper, wild sage and anise appear on the nose; the palate is full-bodied and structured with integrated tannins. The wine is sourced from vineyards in the Stellenbosch/Polkadraai Hills area.
