Description

Roagna’s Barbaresco Albesani 2020 is a single-varietal Nebbiolo from the historic Albesani site in Neive, released as Barbaresco DOCG. The vineyard grows on calcareous-clay soils and includes both old vines planted in the mid-20th century and younger plantings. Winemaking at Roagna involves wooden-vat fermentations with a pied de cuve, extended submerged-cap macerations and long ageing in neutral wood and concrete.
