Description

Roagna’s Barolo Chinato is an aromatized wine made from their Barolo Pira, produced by adding infusions of herbs, barks and flowers in Barolo grappa to a long-aged wine. It follows the Piedmontese tradition of a sweet/digestif-style wine, showing spicy and balsamic notes from the botanical infusion. Production is very limited, with only a few hundred bottles released per edition. The use of Barolo as base wine and Nebbiolo fruit underlines its origin in the Barolo and Langhe area.
