Description

ROAGNA’s Barolo Pira “Vecchie Viti” 2019 is a Barolo DOCG made from 100% Nebbiolo from the Pira monopole in Castiglione Falletto, with very old vine plantings (the oldest dating to 1937). The wine is produced following traditional methods, including extended maceration and prolonged ageing in neutral oak and concrete tanks prior to release. It is a site-expressive Barolo with cellaring potential, reflecting the characteristics of this historic vineyard site.
