Roagna Langhe Bianco 2023 combines Chardonnay with a small proportion of Nebbiolo vinified as a white wine. The importer identifies its origins between the Rocche di Castiglione area, around Cascina Pira, and Barbaresco. Grapes are selected by hand before pressing; fermentation in wood with indigenous yeasts and maturation in neutral oak follow the estate's approach to ageworthy whites. This combination brings Chardonnay together with the contribution of Nebbiolo in a small-production wine that sits alongside the family's celebrated reds, offering a different perspective on the vineyards and possibilities of the Langhe.
