Description

Solea combines Chardonnay with Nebbiolo vinified as a white wine in Roagna's distinctive interpretation of the Langhe. Chardonnay is sourced in part from the vineyard near the Castiglione Falletto cellar, within the estate's Pira holdings. The must undergoes oxidation before fermentation, a choice intended to support stability and development with age. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place in wood, followed by maturation on lees in neutral oak. The project brings a white variety into dialogue with the family's defining red grape, allowing time to play an important role in the wine's identity.
