Roberto Voerzio’s Barbera d’Alba Riserva Vigneto Pozzo dell’Annunziata comes from La Morra and is made entirely from Barbera. The vineyard faces east and southeast and is managed with high planting density and very restricted yields per vine. Its first harvest was in 1996. After fermentation in stainless steel, the wine matures in new and previously used barriques, then rests in steel and bottle. This sequence of vessels and time before release defines the development of a riserva associated with a specific vineyard origin.
