Barolo Brunate

Description

Roberto Voerzio’s Barolo Brunate is made entirely from Nebbiolo and was first produced from the 1988 harvest. The vineyards face east and southeast and are cultivated with restricted yields, central to the estate’s vineyard work. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, following the house approach of relying on naturally occurring yeasts. After malolactic fermentation, maturation continues in oak, and the wine is subsequently bottled without filtration. The cuvée maintains Brunate’s individual identity within the estate’s collection of Barolo wines devoted to specific vineyard sites.
