Description
Roberto Voerzio’s Barolo Cerequio is made from Nebbiolo grown in vineyards facing south and southeast. First produced in 1988, the cuvée retains an individual place among the estate’s single-vineyard Barolo wines. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel, following the house approach of relying on naturally occurring yeasts. Maturation continues in oak after malolactic fermentation, and bottling is carried out without filtration. This process places the relationship between grape origin, vineyard work and the wine’s identity at the centre of the finished cuvée and its development.
