Roberto Voerzio’s Barolo del Comune di La Morra is made entirely from Nebbiolo grown in south- and southeast-facing vineyards. Management combines closely planted vines with restricted yields per plant. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel with manual pump-overs, while maturation uses both barriques and larger oak casks, followed by rest in steel and bottle. Balsamic suggestions and red citrus appear in the profile, alongside a dynamic structure and a slightly austere character. Persistence completes a wine that brings together the identity of the village of La Morra.
