Description
Roberto Voerzio’s Barolo Rocche dell’Annunziata is made entirely from Nebbiolo grown in a south-facing vineyard at around 300 metres in elevation. The soil is loose and clay-rich, with a deeper sandy component. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel; maturation combines barriques and larger casks, followed by rest in steel and bottle. The cuvée maintains an individual identity among the estate’s Barolo wines, supported by restricted yields and attention to vineyard work. Its cellar development accompanies the fruit without the use of a final filtration before bottling.
