Description

Roc Breïa Chardonnay tells the story of Théo Dancer’s Mâconnais project through old vines spread across several parcels of the property. Plantings date from the 1940s and 1970s, a vineyard heritage that gives depth to this new winemaking venture. Chardonnay is vinified on its own, with fermentation and maturation in previously used French barrels larger than the classic Burgundian pièce. Bottling takes place without fining or filtration. The cuvée therefore follows a restrained approach, focused on the grapes’ origin and on continuity between fermentation and maturation.
