Description

Paolo Rodaro’s Centomesi Rosé Nature is a Pas Dosé traditional-method sparkling wine made from Pinot Noir grown in estate vineyards around Cividale del Friuli. Vines are trained to Guyot on ponca soils formed from Eocene marl and sandstone. Selection of the finest juice and stainless-steel vinification precede the second fermentation and extended bottle ageing on the lees. The name Centomesi refers to the central role of time in developing the cuvée. The wine offers a rosé interpretation of Pinot Noir within the estate’s exploration of sparkling wines made without dosage.
