Description

The Chemin du Bois 2018 from Roger Pouillon et Fils is a vintage Champagne (Champagne AOC) sourced from the Chemin du Bois parcel in Mareuil‑sur‑Aÿ, classified Premier Cru. It is a blanc de noirs made from 100% Pinot Noir and presented in an Extra‑Brut style. Winemaking includes oak barrel élevage (new and up to four‑year barrels), native-yeast fermentations and techniques such as bâtonnage, with lees ageing reported at about five years. Production is limited to roughly 1,000–2,000 bottles depending on the harvest.
