Description

Vom Berg is Rohregger’s Pinot Bianco from the Gavada vineyard at Corona above Cortaccia, at approximately 820 metres above sea level. The south-facing slope contains limestone gravel and seams of clay; the Mendola range protects it from northerly winds, while descending air currents encourage temperature differences. The grapes are harvested by hand and undergo brief maceration. After temperature-controlled fermentation, the wine matures in tonneaux with partial malolactic fermentation and then in bottle. The palate combines freshness, clearly defined acidity and a persistent mineral component, accompanied by a measured structure that reflects its mountain vineyard.
