Description

Ronchi di Cialla’s Picolit di Cialla is a sweet white made from the grape of the same name in the Cialla valley at Prepotto. The south-facing hillside Picoliscjs vineyard grows on Eocene marl. Production combines late harvesting and drying the grapes indoors; spontaneous fermentation takes place in French oak barriques, where the wine continues maturing before bottle ageing. Its colour is bright gold. The aromatic profile recalls acacia flowers and candied orange peel, with spicy and mineral nuances. Sweetness is supported by a defined structure that maintains balance across the palate.
