Description

Ciallabianco is Ronchi di Cialla’s dry white from the Cialla valley in the Friulian commune of Prepotto. It comes from the south-southeast-facing Quercigh vineyard, on hillsides between 130 and 240 metres, and brings together Ribolla Gialla, Picolit and Verduzzo. Fermentation and maturation in barriques precede further ageing in bottle. The producer describes pear, apple and plum alongside vanilla, acacia and jasmine. Body and balanced acidity shape the palate, while suggested pairings include fish, shellfish and white meat, reflecting the wine’s place at the table.
