Description

Ronco del Gnemiz’s Buri Bellaria Rosso comes from Buttrio in Friuli Colli Orientali and combines Merlot with Refosco. The Guyot-trained vineyard grows on marl, with old Merlot vines forming the core of the cuvée. The two varieties are harvested together and, after destemming, ferment in open stainless-steel vats. The process continues in French oak, where malolactic fermentation and maturation take place. Bottling follows without fining or filtration. Its origin in a single place and the joint vinification of the grapes define the identity of this Friulian red.
