Description
Ronco del Gnemiz’s A Ana Freire 2024 is a Friuli Colli Orientali Chardonnay from a southeast-facing vineyard in Rosazzo. Its name recalls the land’s former owner. The vines grow on ponca, the marl-based formation of the Friulian hills. Fermentation takes place in barriques, followed by ten months of wood maturation, with one quarter new barrels. The cuvée forms part of the Palazzolo family’s parcel selections, overseen by Serena Palazzolo and Christian Patat with the aim of making the differences between individual vineyards recognisable in their wines.
