In the 2024 vintage, San Zuan, the Friulian name for San Giovanni al Natisone, identifies Ronco del Gnemiz’s Friulano associated with this territory. Grapes come from a southwest-facing vineyard, where mature vines grow on ponca and clay. Fermentation takes place in barriques, some of them new, and the wine spends ten months on its lees. A supple opening accompanies suggestions of yellow fruit and nuts. The creamy finish leaves a delicate bitter nuance, completing its smooth texture. The cuvée’s name reinforces the relationship between Friulano and the Palazzolo family’s village.
