Description

Ronco del Gnemiz’s Sauvignon Salici comes from a west-facing vineyard at San Giovanni al Natisone in Friuli Colli Orientali. The soils combine ponca and clay, while cellar work involves wood and time on the lees. Sauvignon expresses ripe white fruit and suggestions of green fruit, accompanied by mineral and savoury elements. The palate has roundness and substance, balanced by clear acidity that maintains freshness. Its aromatic character is measured, leaving space for texture, with a saline impression accompanying the finish and completing the wine’s overall profile.
