Description

Roncùs Pinot Bianco comes from Capriva del Friuli, drawing on hillside vineyards over marl and flatter parcels with shallow, stony soils. The vineyards have grass cover and are farmed organically, with harvesting carried out by hand. After brief skin contact, crushing and cold settling, fermentation begins spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The wine also completes malolactic fermentation and matures first in large oak casks, then in stainless steel on its own lees. Its character emphasises finesse, balance and the ability to develop over time, linking the variety to the different vineyard settings around Capriva.
