Description
Villa de Puppi’s 2022 Sauvignon Rosa Bosco comes from the hills of Buttrio, Manzano and Premariacco, on Eocene marl soils. Following summer bunch thinning, grapes were picked in late August into small crates and selected again at the winery. Cold maceration preceded gentle crushing; alcoholic and malolactic fermentation took place in French barriques, followed by maturation with frequent lees stirring. The aromatic profile combines gardenia, vanilla and a balsamic nuance. The palate is creamy and structured, with persistence and floral and hazelnut suggestions towards the finish. It belongs to the estate’s Rosa Bosco selection.
