Description
Roses de Jeanne’s Côte de Béchalin Oenothèque 2010 is a Blanc de Noirs Champagne made from Pinot Noir from a single parcel in the Côte des Bar. The cuvée follows Cédric Bouchard’s approach of separating site, grape variety and harvest. The work includes restricted yields, hand harvesting and selection of juice from the first pressing. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place in tanks, without oak. A slow second fermentation at low temperature and the absence of dosage complete the house’s approach, keeping the vineyard and the 2010 harvest at the centre.
