Description

Rovellotti’s Ghemme Riserva “Costa del Salmino” is a DOCG red from the Ghemme area of Piedmont. The wine is a traditional blend led by Nebbiolo (about 90%) with Vespolina (about 10%) and is aged extensively in large oak casks (42 months) and for at least 9 months in bottle. In the glass it shows ruby to garnet hues with aromas of violet, dried rose, currant and ripe blackberry; the palate is dry, full-bodied and persistent.
