Description

Dom Ruinart Rosé 2009 combines Grand Cru Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs and Sillery with a proportion of red Pinot Noir wine from Aÿ. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel and includes malolactic conversion, followed by eleven years of maturation on lees. For this harvest, the house describes citrus, spice and floral aromas, with pomegranate and redcurrant on the palate. A silky texture and delicate bubbles accompany an intense expression, supported by a savoury dimension and a gently bitter nuance that gives definition to the finish.
