Description

R de Ruinart Millésimé expresses a single harvest through a blend in which Chardonnay and Pinot Noir play central roles. Its origins encompass mainly Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims. Grapes are harvested by hand; alcoholic fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel and is followed by malolactic fermentation. The wine then rests on the lees in bottle before disgorgement. The blend and dosage are adapted to the harvest, maintaining the relationship between fruit maturity and freshness.
