Description

San Felice’s Chianti Classico Gran Selezione “La Pieve” 2021 is a red Chianti Classico made primarily from Sangiovese grown in the estate vineyards of Castelnuovo Berardenga. Fermented with extended maceration and aged about 24 months in wood (500 L tonneaux), it shows a full body, ripe tannins and aromas of dark fruit, violet and spicy notes. It pairs well with roasts, game and matured cheeses. Alcohol and cellaring guidance are reported at roughly 14% ABV and 10–15 years, respectively.
