Description

San Felice’s Vigorello 2020 is a red Toscana IGT from the estate at Castelnuovo Berardenga (Siena). The wine is a predominantly Bordeaux-style blend that for 2020 is composed of Pugnitello (35%), Merlot (30%), Cabernet Sauvignon (30%) and Petit Verdot (5%); it is fermented with 20–25 days of skin contact and aged 24 months in French oak barrels, then 8 months in bottle. The wine shows a compact ruby color, aromas of blackcurrant jam, sweet spice and undergrowth; the palate is warm, structured and tannic with subtle vanilla notes.
