Le Lucére Riserva is San Filippo's selection of the finest expressions from its namesake vineyard on the eastern side of Montalcino. Sangiovese grows on soils associated with Pliocene marine deposits, combining clay, sand and sandstone components. The Riserva is selected from the best barrels and produced in harvests the estate considers outstanding. The producer's general profile combines cherry and spice with a full structure, supported by dense, silky tannins. Maturation in wood and subsequent bottle ageing shape a Brunello interpretation focused on depth, harmony and a persistent finish that carries its flavours forward.
