Ugolforte is a Brunello di Montalcino Riserva from Tenuta San Giorgio in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, in the southeast area of Montalcino. It is made entirely from Sangiovese grapes grown on vineyards between about 250 and 400 metres above sea level. The wine undergoes extended maturation in large Slavonian oak vessels (approximately 36 months) before bottling.
