Description

Percarlo is a single-varietal red from San Giusto a Rentennano made with Sangiovese grapes selected bunch by bunch. Bottled as Sangiovese di Toscana IGT, it comes from vineyards planted on Pliocene soils at around 270 m above sea level. Vinification includes extended maceration and about 20–22 months of maturation in French oak barrels and tonneaux, followed by additional bottle ageing. The wine presents solid structure and notable ageing potential.
